On Monday, December 2, 2024, the District received notification from the Special District Leadership Foundation (SDLF) that the District has successfully completed the District Transparency Certificate of Excellence program.  In order to receive this recognition, the District had to show proof of documents and training, in print and on the District's website as a means to be more transparent to the County and its residents.  Attached below is a letter sent by SDLF President Sandy Raffleson to congratulate the District on this accomplishment.  The District was originally presented with a perpetual plaque in November 2013, which is proudly displayed at the District office.  You can view the District issued press release regarding this recognition below.  Click here to access the SDLF website for information about their programs.
