El Toro Memorial Park

Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that places beautiful wreaths on Veteran gravesites every year in December.  Since 2017 a dedicated group of American Heritage Girls have been selling wreaths for El Toro Memorial Park.  By 2019 several other organizations joined in, including substantial support from the Orange Coast Elks District.  

Each year the American Heritage Girls have conducted a beauitful wreath presentation ceremony and following the program, volunteers distribute the wreaths on Veteran gravesites throughout the park.  In 2021 enough wreaths were sponsored at El Toro Memorial Park to place a wreath on every Veteran's grave.

In 2022, the American Heritage Girls will be conducting the Wreath Ceremony at El Toro Memoirial Park at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17th.  We will be monitoring State and County COVID-19 guidelines as the event draws closer to make sure it can continue as planned.

After the ceremony, at approximately 9:30 a.m., volunteers who wish to help lay wreaths at El Toro Memorial Park may do so until the supply of wreaths are gone.  Wreaths will be positioned at various stations throughout the cemetery.

Wreaths cost $15.00 each.  Please be advised that wreath placements cannot be assigned to specific gravesites and are placed randomly on veteran graves.  Wreaths ordered are delivered to the cemetery prior to the wreath placement ceremony in December.  

Santa Ana Cemetery

Thanks to the generous support of the Orange Coast Elks District, this is the third year that Santa Ana Cemetery will participate with Wreaths Across America. 

The Elks will hold a wreath presentation ceremony at Santa Ana Cemetery on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.    

After the ceremony, volunteers who wish to help lay wreaths at Santa Ana Cemetery may come to the park to place wreaths until the supply of wreaths are gone.  Wreaths will be positioned at various stations throughout the cemetery.
