District Policies & Public Cemetery District Law

The Orange County Cemetery District Board of Trustees is responsible for setting policy pertaining to the operation of the District.  Most of the policies are developed based on the District's operations. However, some policies are required and reference the California Health & Safety Code or Government Code.  Each year staff presents policies for the Board to review and approve.
