The District's General Manager Tim Deutsch was presented with the prestigious Ruben Siemens-Wayne Byington Memorial for the State of California at the 57th Annual Conference of the California Association of Public Cemeteries (CAPC) in San Luis Obispo on March 28, 2015.
The Reuben Siemens-Wayne Byington Memorial is presented to an active CAPC member who has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to the Association, maintained high professional standards, assisted others within the Association, and exemplified the spirit of the public cemetery profession.
Tim started with the District in February 2006, after serving the City of Newport Beach as a Manager in the Public Works-Utilities Department for 19 years. Tim is committed to the idea of maximizing his potential. He not only seeks opportunities to develop his own skills and abilities, but encourages and supports staff and trustees to grow and excel as well.
