District receives the McMurchie Excellence in Safety Award
At the California Special District Association Annual Conference in 2022, the District recieved the McMurchie Excellence in Safety Award from Special District Risk Management Authority in recognition of the Outstanding Leadership for Employee Loss Prevention and Safety Programs. The District received the award for its continued excellence in loss prevention, by expanded its training sessions to three safety programs per month.

Orange County Cemetery District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Orange County Cemetery District
